The 7 x 7 Award

I’ve been nominated for MORE awards!

This time it is the 7 x 7 award. Nominations have been from Olivia BolerShannon Howell – My Life As An Author, Cath Bore – Liverpool writer about town and the multi-award winning Buddhafulkat – where dream meets action.

This award is about the 7s. I need to:

  • reveal 7 general things about myself;
  • my 7 favourite blog posts; and
  • nominate 7 other blogs for the award.

7 things about me (I’ve gone with a 7 theme):

  1. The number 7 is my favourite number;
  2. My idol growing up was Kenny Dalglish – Liverpool player then and current manager. He wore the number 7 jersey;
  3. Favourite current player is Luis Suarez – the current number 7;
  4. One of my favourite films is Se7en with Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt. 7 deadly sins, brilliant film;
  5. I’ve studied 7 Open University courses;
  6. I’ve worked for my current employer for nearly 25 years, but in that time I have worked on 7 different teams!;
  7. It took me a long time to think of things in the 7s, but finally made the last one! I have been abroad 7 times. USA, Italy, Spain and France x 4.

my 7 favourite posts:

  1. Twitter made my buy a Kindle – This is my favourite post. I’ve downloaded e-books from people I’ve met on Twitter. I’m looking forward to reading many more;
  2. Musical Tourette’s. What? – I mention on my Twitter bio that I suffer from this and had a few tweets so it deserved a post;
  3. Time to Get Organised – I NEED to be organised. I could be better but this certainly helped;
  4. My First Proper Rejection! – This was a good and bad day. Long term positives out way the short-term disappointment;
  5. Thinking of joining a writing group? – I only have positive experiences with my writing group. We are supporting each other to improve out writing;
  6. The Eclectic Reader Challenge 2012 – I love a challenge and my reading needs to be stretched. This challenge does that. Give it a read and suggest some books for me to read;
  7. 2nd draft of my crime novel; Underway! – It had been a LONG time in coming, but this was a momentous time for me.
