Kreativ Blogger Award

They say things come in threes. First came the Liebster Award, then the Versatile Blogger Award and now the Kreativ Blogger Award.

I would like to thank H. Conrad Miller and his blog: A Side Of Writing for nominating my blog for this award. If you haven’t visited Conrad’s blog you should check it out. He blogs some great writing prompts.

Whilst I was looking at which blogs to nominate I have been nominated again, this time by Craig Hallam. His Steampunk inspired blog has links to his short story collection and updates ahead of his debut novel, Greaveburn due out later this year. Then a third nomination arrived. This time from Caerlynn Nash over at the blog Pen ‘n Tonic.

I recommend you check out all of their blogs. And thank you for thinking of me.

The rules of this award is to list six blogs that you think deserve the award and put ten things that your readers don’t know about you. I decided not to nominate anyone who I’ve previously nominated for an award.

My nominations for the Kreativ Blogger Award are:

  1. Thoughts on Theatre
  2. Buddhafulkat
  3. Words etc Writing
  4. The Lady Hails
  5. The Walls of the World
  6. James T Kelly

Ten Things You Don’t Know About Me:

  1. I’m a basketball fan (Sheffield Sharks – UK & Chicago Bulls – NBA)
  2. When I left school I was planning on becoming a chef
  3. I didn’t. I ended up working in an office instead
  4. 25 years later and I’m still there
  5. Chopping up numbers or onions. It’s all the same really!
  6. I cook a mean chili
  7. And my Millionaire Slice (Chocolate, Caramel & shortbread) is fantastic – so I’ve been told
  8. I wrote three novels in my early twenties but never sent them anywhere
  9. I love the sea
  10. In fact I always feel better when I get to the coast

Many thanks again to Conrad, Craig and Caerlynn and thank you for reading.

Good job on the award, Pete. I’m here because I saw you visited my blog, http://misadventuresinlamosquitia.wordpress.com, today. Thanks for dropping by. I like your blog, or what I’ve read of it so far. Congratulations on the reward!
Sounds like you’re an accomplished cook as well. Me too!
I hope your current crime novel turns out well.
I’ll continue to follow you as a bit of side reading as I blog about my own publishing efforts that began with http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0071I3JN4. It’s a series of true life short stories about my misadventures in the Mosquito Coast of Honduras. Hope to see more of your visits.

      Thanks, Roger.

I might post a few recipes on the blog sometime along with more updates about my book.

Good luck with your writing and your book and I look forward to reading more of your posts too!

      Pete

  13. A very nice blog. I found it because I was reading another blog you had commented. Im also a writer, so you see we have an interest in common. I saw that you have a thing (sorry my lack of English), in the menu on the right at your blog. It is some kind of counter telling everyone how many words you have written in your book, and also showing this barometer. How did you get that? I would love to have that.
Now, I will take a deeper look into your blog, visiting more pages and posts.
    Maggie
